Waivers
Above and Beyond Healthcare Inc. proudly works with eligible clients receiving services through Colorado Medicaid programs and waivers, including:
CFC, EBD, IHSS, SLS, CMHS, BI, CIH, and CHCBS.
We also provide services for private-pay clients.
Designed for children (ages 0–17) with complex medical needs or severe physical disabilities who require hospital- or nursing-facility-level care at home. (Note: In Colorado's Medicaid updates, CHCBS merged into the CwCHN — Children with Complex Health Needs waiver).
Formerly known as the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) waiver, this offers complementary therapies—such as acupuncture, chiropractic care, and massage therapy—for individuals with spinal cord injuries or qualifying physical disabilities.
Provides structured day programs, supported living, and specialized care for adults living with or recovering from a traumatic or acquired brain injury.
Supports adults living with severe and persistent mental health conditions so they can maintain stable community living.
Offers personal care, respite, supported employment, and assistive technologies for adults (18+) with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) who live independently or with family.
A service delivery option offered within specific waivers (such as EBD). It allows clients or their family members to direct their own care—including the ability to hire, train, and pay family members or chosen caregivers to provide home care.
Provides home care, personal hygiene support, and day services for adults age 65+ or adults with physical disabilities.
A Medicaid benefit that provides personal care, homemaker assistance, and attendant supports for individuals who qualify for an institutional level of care but prefer to live at home
